12/15: Well, having been informed that people don't bother to read journal updates (something that doesn't make sense to me, if you're watching the club and everything, why don't you read the updates as well?), and having been informed that dA is acting up again and causing some people to not even see the update alerts, and that because of this a lot of people probably aren't even aware a contest is going on, I've changed the journal title to reflect this, and I've extended the contest deadline to December 30th.
Hopefully people will finally notice...
12/14: C'mon, guys. Only 9 days left till the contest's over, and I haven't received a single submission. Doesn't anybody want to take part?
12/05: IIIIIt's Contest Time, people! See above for info!
11/28: There will be a contest soon. Dunno what it'll be, exactly, but keep an eye on this Club. It'll be sometime during the month of December.
ABOUT:
What exactly is The Fangirl Abuse Hotline? Well, it takes its name and inspiration from a comic I did a long time ago, about a radio motivation/support show hosted by Sephiroth, for intellectual property that had been abused.
FAH! the club is for those people who feel the same way I do: you're a major fangirl or fanboy of something, but you're severely turned off by the majority of the fan art and fic you see out there. Bored by dark angst? Enraged by Mary Sues/Gary Stus? Sickened by slash? Confused by Lion King and furry interpretations? Well then, pull up a chair to the semi-circle and join us in the drinking of hot cocoa and singing of inspirational songs, friends. We Shall Overcome!
